The Story Goes Like This Layout

This was a tricky challenge but now that I'm done, I really like how it turned out. I joined the Scrappy Friends challenge.

The sketch was from GrandDiva's Creative Corner.

The colours are from Creating with Paper and More. The only colour I didn't use was the second from the top.

The Tic Tac Toe challenge is at Rochelle Spears. I went down the right side with a tag, thread and handmade flowers.

I am also entering this project into the Scrap Our Stash Challenge #33. I used the following:
D - DCWV paper ("Story Goes Like This" image)
I - Ink marker (flower around hole on tag)
E - Embroidery thread
C - Craft Smith paper
U - Ultra fine pen for journaling, letter U in title
T - Tag
S - Stickers

Supplies
Background Paper - Fancy Pants: Me-ology
Papers - Craft Smith: Tea Party, DCWV: Snapshot Stack & Violet Leaf Stack, MME: Just Sayin'
Gold Stickers - MME: Niche
Gold Paint - DecoArt
Embroidery Thread
Handmade Flowers
Gold Ink - American Crafts metallic marker
Black Ink - Ultra fine pen

Thanks for stopping by!

  8. Sweet layout! Love how you picked up on the gold accents on your papers by adding gold splotches to the background paper.
