Grandparents Layout for PHP and Xyron

This week the Paper House Productions team has joined forces with Xyron. I got to tryout their tape runner and sticker maker. Here is my layout:
Here is how I made the flower paper in the top left into a sticker.

I placed the paper into the sticker maker.

Pulled this paper out and ripped it off.
Peeled the paper off and the adhesive was left on the back of my flower paper.

So Happy We Are Friends Layout

It was a long, rainy weekend so I found some time to scrap. I used a sketch from My Creative Sketches and the Bloom & Grow collection from Simple Stories. I love how this green teeter-totter in the picture matches the green in the kit.

Little Things Family Flip Album for PHP

I'm on the Paper House Productions Blog today showing the Little Things Flip Album. I made this for my mother-in-law for her birthday. It is a cool little album where she can display a bunch of our family photos.
The album comes with the clear stickers and gold photo corners. Easy peasy!
This is the backside of the top flap.
Unfold the top flap one more time and there is space for more photos.
The second flap has this pocket with a slide out. I used a sentiment from the One Big Happy Family Collection on both sides.
Here is what you see when you flip up the pocket.
This is the third flap.
When you open it there is a place for a picture and journaling.
Finally, under the third flap is space for 2 photos. Look at those cuties!

I Love Right Now Layout - Sketches In Thyme

Hello! I'm on the Sketches In Thyme blog today with a layout inspired by a great sketch by Jenessa Franco. I used some older pictures of my daughter. We took so many pictures that day I will never get tired of scrapping them. The colours are so much fun to work with.
Here is the sketch:
No automatic alt text available.

I decided to tear the matting paper and use texture paste mixed with paint for the arrows. I fussy cut the flowers from the High Five collection and decided not to stitch on the layout like the sketch as I didn't think I had room. I used my Cameo and yellow cardstock to cut out a daisy lace background and then cut the daisies apart to back the flowers.
Papers - We R Memory Keepers: High Five
Ranger Texture Paste
Stencil - The Crafter's Workshop
Tim Holtz Distress Paint - Fossilized Amber
Paper - Scenic Route Paper Co. - North Shore Barrel
Yellow Cardstock
Silhouette Cameo

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have time to add a layout to the link up at Sketches In Thyme for a chance to win a prize.

Sweet Cheeks Layout

There were so many great challenges for International Scrapbook Day I tried to squeeze one more in. This one is from Scrap Our Stash and includes playing along with the Scrappy Friends. This is a recent picture of my daughter from our California vacation. We are on the merry-go-round in Disneyland.
Here is the sketch from Grand Diva's Creative Corner:

I fussy cut the bunch of flowers beside the pictures. I used two different border punches on the black cardstock. I also used 3 patterned papers (the pink strip under the photos is the back of the yellow paper).
The final challenge is at Scrap Our Stash to do the above challenges but also include mixed alphas. I used 2 different types of alphas for my title.

Martha Stewart punch
Black cardstock

I just love this month's sketch at Paper Issues. I have a bunch of collections I haven't used yet (I know, the horror!) so I pulled one out to go with the sketch. I don't know what I was thinking, this collection is amazing!
